CompoSol® Caisson

 

CompoSol® Caisson is an Engineered and Designed Composite Repair System. Its purpose is to restore structural integrity of caissons and other large diameter pipes, suffering from wall thinning caused by internal & external corrosion or technical damage. CompoSol® Caisson can even be used here through wall defects are already evident.

DESIGN

The composite repair can be designed to withstand structural stresses (such as bending, shear and axial), that are induced from hydrodynamic loading and dead loads, as well as internal pressure. Finite Element Analysis is used to support the design process and identify areas of high stress.

APPLICATION

Surfaces should be clean and free from loose rust and contamination. Preparation should be in line with the requirements of the latest international standards.

CompoSol® Caisson should only be applied by applicators trained and certificated in line with ISO/TS24817, ASME PCC2 and ACORES Audit requirements.

CompoSol® Encap

 

CompoSol® Encap is a Composite Repair System that is used for encapsulating redundant and corroded off–takes. Repairs include valves and stubs on pipes and pipelines, which vastly reduces the dead weight issues surrounding “clamp type” repairs on already weakened systems.

USAGE

CompoSol® Encap is used as a wet lay-up around all types of ferrous and non-ferrous fittings to protect pipework and maintain operational integrity.

CompoSol® Encap can be used in conjunction with CompoSol® Pipework to provide the complete composite pressure retaining repair.

APPLICATION

Surfaces should be clean and free from loose rust and contamination. Preparation should be in line with the requirements of the latest international standards.

CompoSol® Flat

 

CompoSol® Flat is an engineered Composite Repair System for use in reinforcing worn and holed decks, bulkheads, accommodation, storage modules and other structures.

DESIGN

Flat surface repairs can be designed to restore structural integrity to the substrate. Designs are based on the latest research and development and complemented by Finite Element Analysis.

APPLICATION

Surfaces should be clean and free from loose rust and contamination. Preparation should be in line with the requirements of the latest international standards.

CompoSol® Flat should only be applied by applicators trained and certificated in line with ACORES Audit requirements.

CompoSol® GFLiner

 

CompoSol® GFLiner is a two pack, multi-layer Composite System for use as a liner in vessels, cells and tanks suffering from internal corrosion or erosion.

CompoSol® GFLiner is used as a spray, brush or roller coating on the interior surfaces of vessels to provide an impervious barrier, which will extend service life.

Surfaces should be clean and free from loose rust and contamination. It is essential that the level of surface ions, especially chloride and sulphate, is checked and appropriate washing is carried out.

CompoSol® GFLiner should only be applied to an abrasive blasted surface (finished to SA 2 1/2 and 60 micron profile) and only by trained applicators.

CompoSol® Grab-Wrap®

 

CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® is reliable and easy to use temporary pipe repair and leak sealing kit.

CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® is a reliable Emergency Pipe Repair System, specially designed to enable onsite personnel to perform effective leak sealing applications on a range of lines. The repair kit can be used on pipes and piping systems, including bends, tees, reducers and complex geometries, when an unexpected emergency occurs. CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® can also be used in conjunction with an Engineered and Designed Composite Repair System.

USAGE

CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® is used as a pre-impregnated wrap that can be used for all types of ferrous and non-ferrous pipes and piping systems to temporarily restore operational integrity.

APPLICATION

The kit contains everything you need to stop a leak, including:

  • CompoSol® Polymer Plugs and CompoSol® Self-sealing Screw Plugs to physically stop the leak flow
  • CompoSol® Epoxy-Stick, water tolerant, fast curing epoxy to plug the hole
  • CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® Tape to seal by applying torque at the leak site
  • CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® Laminate, moisture curing resin bandage

Surfaces should be clean and free from loose rust and contamination. CompoSol® Grab-Wrap® is a self-contained, temporary repair system available in various sizes complete with a leaflet which provides a clear explanation of the correct method of application. Supplemental bandages are also available.

CompoSol® X-Protect

 

CompoSol® X-Protect is a low cost Non-Engineered temporary Composite Repair System used to reinforce defected lines and prevent the spread of external corrosion. The system has been pressure tested and performs well so repairs can be practically effective without having to conform to the ISO standard.

CompoSol® Structure

 

CompoSol® Structure is a Composite Repair System for reinforcing worn and holed structural members including, but not limited to, beams, columns, hollow sections and piles. CompoSol® Structure is applicable to both steel and concrete.
